I heard Pai from my friend 3 years, and I made decision to visit Pai, Thai Land. It takes about 3 hours from Chiang Mai to Pai by a minibus and you should take a sickness car because there are 643 curves on the way to Pai. It's really a tough road to get to Pai of Love :) Many travellers told me they didn't vissit Pai cause Pai is a tourist attraction where has many foreign travellers! However, I find Pai very peaceful and quiet far from the centre of Pai just 5km :) I love Pai so much! I feel peaceful and find something different in Pai and can't wait to come back this lovely town for longer stay!
